JC Jacinto

b. 1985

PaintingMixed Media

Born in Pasig, Philippines. He makes work about things that outlive us—rocks, trees, minerals—and the slow processes, sedimentation, crystallisation, decay, that form them. What began as figurative painting has dissolved into near-abstraction built from real organic matter. Based with Artinformal in Makati, he was shortlisted for the Ateneo Art Awards in 2019 and showed new work at ALT Art in 2026.
