Casa de Memoria
Palacio de Memoria, 95 Roxas Boulevard, Parañaque City
Casa de Memoria is an auction house set in Palacio de Memoria, a mansion on Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque City. It held its first auction in May 2016 and is run by Camille Lhuillier and Angelique Lhuillier-Miranda, sisters from the Lhuillier family. Unusually for the Philippines, it specialises in European antiques, paintings and decorative objects — the house describes itself as the only one in the country to do so. Its focus is on heirlooms passed down through generations, with each piece's provenance checked before it finds a new owner. The venue is part of the appeal: a restored pre-war house that survived the 1945 Battle of Manila, which has hosted the auctions since 2019. Themed sales are held several times a year, and bids can also be placed online through Invaluable. It suits anyone drawn to European antiques, or to the atmosphere of Manila's old mansions.
